Secret #5 - This is YOUR Wedding!

Unfortunately, and this is especially true in the current economic climate, many wedding photographers attempt to cram as many weddings into one day as possible. They rush from your one wedding to another all day, one reason why we see so much wedding photography being offered by the hour. Many photographers will cram as many weddings into a weekend as they humanly can. Often, this means they photograph a wedding Friday evening, another on Saturday morning, a third in the evening, and a fourth on Sunday. This is especially true of studio "associate photographers" who "shoot and burn" and then dump everything at the studio – or on the bride - for printing and album design. They will do over 70 weddings in one season. It seems like a bargain when you hire them but.....

The main reason I photograph a maximum of 24 weddings per year is so that I can devote my time to YOU and your photographs. You get the individual personal attention that you deserve on this most special day in your life.

But realistically, this kind of photographer isn't going to capture the RELATIONSHIPS, EMOTIONS, ROMANCE and LOVE between you and your fiancé and between you and your family and friends. They won't have the time or energy to capture those feelings, and the stress of photographing so many weddings at once detracts from their sensitivity and enthusiasm.

By the way, I ONLY photograph ONE wedding per day and usually only one wedding per weekend.


You get me for the ENTIRE DAY. I understand how important this day is to you, and I am there for you! This also means that I'm rested and energetic. It also means I'm enthusiastic about what I will be doing for you. As I mentioned earlier, I photograph weddings because I LOVE them, not because I have to do them. And since I only photograph one wedding a day, I'm not tired or "burned out on your important day."
